Stayed at the Nautilus hotel and this was a short walking distance away (about 2 blocks). Came in a group of 4 and was lucky to find this gem. We walked in and the space is small but cozy and the place had enough people to reassure you this was a spot a local would frequent. 5 minutes away from the Lepanto metro station. Service was friendly and we got by successfully even with not knowing any italian. Menu was available in English and the waitress was kind and spoke some English. Would love to go back and have these dishes again: -pasta carbonara: pasta tasted freshly made and the bacon and sauce were delicious, we tried carbonara at 3 other places in Rome and my group all agreed this place had the best carbonara -pasta amatriciana and seafood linguine were both very enjoyable, especially the seafood linguine. minimal but absolutely mind blowing how much flavor and fresh the tastes were. -sea bass: my friend enjoyed this very much, the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection -mini mozzarella: when in doubt, order it. tasty, crispy, mozzerella balls. tiny but great as a starter
