Casale Rocchi - Roma

A local friend of mine from Rome took me here for the experience of real Roman food. It is bit of a drive from central Rome but quiet worth the distance. The thin crisp pizza which is Roman style, varieties of suppli and fried stuffed zucchini flowers are the specialities but there's also a huge menu. The restaurant is in the middle of a tiny village and it's a very quiet cozy atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming and the owner, very sweet old lady makes sure you're seated and enjoying the experience. A very hidden gem if you're looking for a very simple but incredible Roman food experience.

Simple, rustic and busy place. The food outstanding, probably the best suppli and fiori di zucca in Rome( then in the world) best quality at the best price. Enjoy the experience

Very good fritti, pizza e tiramisù. Very friendly service and great open space in a typical Roman neighbourhood. The fiori di zucca with anchovies were delicious and the supli piccanti too. Tiramisu creamy and delicious.

We celebrated here a birthday, the place is suggestive outside, full of lamps and lamps extremely pleasant. the waiter who served us also entertained us, a dynamic person, precise, reliable and especially a good guy, unfortunately I do not remember the name. we were a table of twenty and more people and they made us all satisfied. a lot of varieties in fries (polenta and sausage, radicchio and speck, pumpkin flowers with salmon,) well cooked pizzas, excellent and very digestible. great value for money, I would like to return as soon as possible

Pizza and fries, delicious crisps really! all homemade, I recommend the tiramisu that is world of indescribable goodness. very kind and courteous staff, a special note for the owner the incomparable queen of chips 'very nice! It reminds me of those Roman actresses of the 60s, an anna magnani de noantri. We'll definitely come back.
