The hosts are wonderful. Tasty home made recipes that made our mouth water. If you are in the area stop buy and have their house special pasta variations on the carbonara and Bucatini all'Amatriciana. View all feedback.
What eugenia zl doesn't like about Cannavota:
That was the worst experience of eating out in Rome. The waiters don't speak English. The menu is in Italian and Spanish. I ordered pasta with mashed meat and tomato source. I didn't like it at all. The dessert was supposed to be a cake but turned out to be flan. Another dessert was served with ice-cream which was not in a ball form but just put and spread all over the plate in the unpleasant form. I came out hungry... View all feedback.

We got reccomend this restaurant by a local, although due to Coronavirus when we arrived it was empty. This shouldn't put you off, the food is fantastic, beautifully caring staff and just the most welcoming of places. I can't believe it such a brilliant place to eat. Please go here if you want amazing food, lovely staff and good relaxing experience.
We found this restaurant that accepted a large group. We have plates of antipasto, then a range of pasta and specials. All were excellently prepared/flavoured. Staff very helpful. Wine range good and our red and white most enjoyable.
Together with my husband, I have visited this restaurant without a booking. Although it was already late, we were accepted. I could see plenty of local delicacies. We took a vegetable soup and it was really nice and hearty. It was like home made. We rounded it up with a crostatina with jam which was really delicious. The service was super quick and the people working there are really really nice with their customers. A place to return to!
I look a little years old attended by deaf trees and other famous characters. family run, served us the grandson of the owners still active in the kitchen, Roman menu with some dishes of their invention, generally all quite good, limited but interesting wine card. parking not easy.
