I expected this to be a rip off tourist trap but prices were surprisingly reasonable and we sat inside and had a couple of nice cakes with coffee. Service was friendly and there were obviously amazing views to see if you were lucky enough to get a table at the edge, although outside was also where all the smokers sat. View all feedback.
What Alessandra Romagnoli doesn't like about Caffe' Capitolino:
It is more beautiful to see (the view is beautiful) than to live it. Frankly disappointed. I went for an event. Very poor food. Not much. Sofas, chairs, really counted tables. The raised part where there is the platform... every 10' a woman left us the framed heel, as the wood is not united. Good thing the event and the money paid wasn't mine. View all feedback.
Splendid, you enjoy the panorama full of domes and monuments. There is a bar where you can sit and enjoy the wonder that the eternal city offers you!
The cafeteria is on the terrace of the conservatory building, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of roma. prices are high and only decent service.
We had the pleasure of having lunch in this wonderful place with one of the most beautiful views. very courteous and helpful staff. very fast service
If you arrive in rome, if you live in rome this is one of those places to visit and return, even if it was just for a coffee! the panoramic view of roma is fantastic.
Terrace with breathtaking views almost 180° always beautiful!
