Excellent service and hospitality! The food is fantastic, too! The cafe is situated and corner street in Rome. Sit outside and enjoy the ambience of the neighborhood and people. View all feedback.
What Jessica H doesn't like about Brassai:
It 's cute looking and a fun idea to eat outside and it 's packed with people. Just don 't. It is the worst meal we had in Italy. We had sandwiches that had no sauce a tiny bit of oil and no love. The service was ok but I couldn 't eat my sandwich because it was just not good . View all feedback.
We gave this place two chances. The first day we order a margarita pizza and a sandwich. The pizza wasn't good. It was just a cheese pizza and not a very good one. The sandwich had good bread and was satisfactory. The second day we got coffee lattes and they were lukewarm and 5 euros for two. Around the corner we got hot lattes that were 3 euros for two. We also ordered the American breakfast and I asked if the orange juice was fresh and she said yes. It isn't! It tastes like syrup. This place is convenient if in the area but average at best. The servers are nice and attentive but food quality needs improvement.
Came for breakfast, but maybe should have turned the other way when we realized no one was there. While the service was fine, the food was very much lacking in quality. The American breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and Parma ham, but both had a weird taste and very odd texture that was unappetizing.

Tourist trap? No way. Does this place cater to tourists? Yes! But in a good way. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. We popped in as we were walking by for some cocktails and a appetizer. We had the cheese and charcuterie plate...yum! We ended up staying for dinner. I had the asparagus risotto and it was to die for! My husband had the artichoke ravioli which was also a winner. Came back the next morning for a quick breakfast before we headed to Sorrento. Again, great! Highly recommended!
