We are staying at the Marriott Flora hotel and wanted a quick evening bite. The place was empty, my husband was leery, but we saw the Trip Advisor sticker on the door and decided to give it a try. Slowly but surely the place filled up with up with other couples from our Viking ship. The food was good, the waiters were excellent, with a great sense of humor. The tiramisu is to die for! And did I mention the biscottis... View all feedback.
What aquina1 doesn't like about Andrea:
Friendly service alright, I dropped in on my first evening in Rome, not having eaten all day. The food was average to good, a bit expensive for the price, but my fellow dinners were certainly enjoying it. Didn’t rock my boat, slow service. View all feedback.
I found this little unassuming place around the corner from my hotel maybe 5 years ago. It's a family run place with Mamma presiding early on until the kids come and take over. The menus is extensive and also features wood fired pizzas which are amazing. I have never had a bad meal here and the service has always been fine. I never felt rushed. This time I brought my husband with me and we ate here both nights. We had the breseaola with arugula, risotto with shrimp, a pizza, artichoke in the Roman style and a salad . We also had a half liter of house red. All the food was delicious, service great and they actually do recognize me now. Can't wait to eat here again when I return in October.

And did I mention the biscottis they “threw in” with our tea and coffee?? When we return to Rome this will be our first stop after checking back into the Marriott Flora!

What a wonderful dinner! Fresh pasta with white truffles, wonderful sea bass, excellent grilled octopus, pasta carbonara! The service was excellent. They brought a plate of fresh biscotti on the house. Our hotel had recommended it and we were very happy they did!
Andrea was close to our hotel so we thought we'd give it a try. The host was friendly and seated us at a nice table. Our was prompt with wine and bread. The meal of steak, octopus and tomato and cheese was very good.
