I was eating twice here yesterday and very satisfied. great Roman cuisine and super pleasant service. Of course, many tourists are here, so you can order everything easily with English. a visit is definitely worth it! View all feedback.
What oxyx1950 doesn't like about Ai Fienaroli:
I'm not sure if my description of veal is wrong but as the granddaughter of a farmer I thought that veal was from milk feed calves. I had the toughest chunks of meat! These were chunks not thin slices or small pieces. The flavor was good but veal should not be marbled with fat or gristle. The ricotta mousse dessert was delightful; not too sweet. It had just enough sweetness to be a dessert. We will try other restauran... View all feedback.
We are in an elegant and little touristic area of roma; a haystack is a white-dressed and pleasant restaurant. after a kind welcome, and some linguistic maids (not all italioti), we order a dinner from a wide menu that combines Roman tradition (pinsa, caci and pepi etc. with more national dishes. de rigueur a start with crunched and fleshy Jewish artichokes, followed by romaneschi tonnarelli conditi con moscardini, pine nuts and zucchini. a top strawberries to refresh your mouth. pleasing, goose dishes, no peak of excellence, but a satisfying Italian cuisine. account are close to via veneto.
The best to eat in our Rome trip. great service, friendly staff, tasty eating away from the tourist sites. highly recommended
Spectacular meal, service was so friendly, eating came fast, ambiente was so beautiful, and eating was the best part.
This spot came up in a search for restaurants near r hotel so off we went and so happy we found it!! Obviously loved by locals so confident we picked a great place! A wonderful rustic basic menu full of choices and goodness for a great price!! Just what we needed to get away from the high prices of via veneto!! Service was wonderful as well!! Highly recommend!! We arrived at 7 which is of course early for locals but by 7.30 it was packed!!
The servers were friendly and kind. They spoke excellent English and were patient with me when practicing my very beginner Italian. The food was great. We stayed close by and actually ate here twice. Once just for pizza and the other time for dinner. Prices were fair and it was only $15 for a bottle of their house red wine.
