My wife and I had a really lovely meal in Sant'Anna over the course of our recent stay in Rome.The restaurant is not your typical tourist haunt instead it was full of locals eating and drinking, We both had pizzas, with some salad washed down with a good deal of house wine. LOVE LOVE LOVE the food here. I had a beef fillet and potatoes, and my husband had the carbinara. The food, service, drinks, and cosy environment were wonderful. I absolutely adored our waitress who speaks Italian, some English, and French, which is impressive. We saved the business card and will be back. If you are American or look America and order the beef fillet, they will ask if you want your steak medium. If you want it medium rare, you can say pinker . I did this and my beef fillet was done perfectly.
