Calamari antipasti, a meat/cheese plate, and three diffe... read more Three people went to this restaurant in early November 2023 for a late lunch. Food was average to good. Calamari antipasti, a meat/cheese plate, and three different pizzas were all rather average. The problem, actually, was the waiter, who, because we did not speak Italian well, was rude. When we did not order wine with lunch, he murmured under his breath that we were ill-educated in the art of eating. We then looked at the menu, and I said that we only wanted antipasti and pizza. He said they didn 't have normal sized pizzas, but a flatbread pizza. We ordered. He suggested we order more, but he was simply trying to upsell us and was not paying attention to what we continually requested. Then, about 10 minutes later, he proceeded to bring out three normal round pizzas for another table. My table mate got angry and asked why he told us that we could not order pizza. He made an excuse and then said, okay, we could order pizza. The entire incident left a bad taste about the restaurant, which is unfortunate, because the food, as stated, was decent. In addition, this restaurant is one that charges a servizio , so do not tip.
