Lost Food Factory - Rom

Walked out of our way to try this place based on the reviews (and my mom is a huge fan of paninis- especially vegetarian ones) and it is absolutely worth it. We almost walked past it as it's a very small place with only a few tables (mostly outside) and it's in-between some larger restaurants so it's like finding the needle in a hay stack but definitely worth the effort. The owners are a super kind, funny, bubbly couple and the paninis are excellent! I got the pepperoni panini and my mom got the Magdalena, the ingredients tasted so fresh, the bread was phenomenal, and the size is perfect for a lunch while touring the nearby sites (like the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon). This is the best panini I have had in Rome so far! The ingredients were amazing and they have a few vegetarian and vegan options. The customer service was great too, will definitely be going back soon! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch

Hidden spot on a busy street, but WELL worth the search! Service was friendly and the sandwiches were delicious fresh ingredients and well made (so fresh, we had to wait for the bread delivery! If you eat one sandwich in Rome, make it this one. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €1–10

The best sandwich in Rome! Skip the tiktok hyped place across the street and come here instead. A much shorter wait and higher quality sandwich and friendly customer service.
