My li... read more I stopped by looking for a quick meal, and while browsing the menu, a staff member recommended the beef and sausage combo, saying it would change my life. My life was already good, but I was curious. This sandwich truly lived up to the hype. I asked them to make it as if it were for themselves, and it was incredible—loaded with juicy peppers, generous in size, moist, and delicious. The sausage was fantastic, and the beef was tender and flavorful. What a perfect pairing! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Treat yourself to one of these!

Whatever you choose from their menu, you can trust it will be expertly prepared and served with a friendly smile. Be sure to try the patty melt—it’s a rare find these days and absolutely delicious. The Italian beef and Italian sausage are as flavorful as any true Chicagoan would expect. The staff always appear genuinely happy and appreciative. Visit Fratellos II once, and you'll likely make it a regular spot.

I ordered a chicken sandwich an... read more I was visiting family and realized it had been quite a while since my last trip to this restaurant—before the pandemic, in fact. I ordered a chicken sandwich and couldn't resist adding their jalapeño poppers, which have always been my comfort food since I was a kid. When I arrived at the payment window, I was warmly greeted with a big smile and handed a chewy chocolate chip cookie in exchange for my card. I was pleasantly surprised, and once I got my card back, I managed to express my gratitude with a "thank you so much." The gentleman at the window then handed me my food (which was absolutely DELICIOUS) and waved me off with a cheerful goodbye. Later on, my brother mentioned that they had started giving out cookies as a small gesture to show appreciation for customers' continued support during the pandemic.

My husband tried the Italian beef with sausage, dipped, and he absolutely loved it, finishing the whole sandwich! On our way to Denver now, we grabbed a gyro and some wings to take with us because we just can’t get enough of their amazing food! A huge thank you for persevering through challenges like COVID, staff shortages, and inflation to keep serving us!
