The Old Don Carlos, Irish Tavern

A good bar, archetypal Irish Tavern, with plenty of space, on terrace, inside, upstairs or or the balcony. Good range of beers, cider and other drinks available. Food is also served here and the menu looked pretty good, although we didn't eat on this visit.

We had dinner here recently, the food was very good indeed. It was hot, arrived promptly and good value for money.

I've only been here for breakfast a few times. The early opening time is good. The breakfast is good too with helpful and attentive staff. It can get busy as it's easily the most popular place on the Quesada high street, so sometimes there's a wait to get served.

There was once a time when this place was alive. I’m not sure what has happened, but it’s not the same anymore. Expensive drinks with little alcohol. Looks nice, and has nice service but the energy is not the best here anymore. This used to be the best bar in quesada, now I only go there if I have to.

Lovely bit of breakfast, Coffee was beautiful and the Tostada with Tomato and Tuna was beautiful, all for a very modest price. Place still in great condition.
