This place is open during the day time. They have a terrace area and there is some seating on the pavement. It's a nice sunny spot. The staff are friendly and we really enjoyed our small English breakfast. There is a nice variety of options on the menu, mainly of the English variety. A good place to spend an hour eating and drinking. View all feedback.
What D2276ZHsamantha doesn't like about Oscars:
Good place to stop for a drink and the staff are pleasant but the 'butchers gammon ham salad was dreadful, Mostly it consisted of iceberg lettuce brown on the edges and covered in not very nice oil. View all feedback.
This was a Tuesday steak night with bottle of wine Two for 25 euros good value and good steak ??????????????
We visit Quesada often to house sit. We’ve struggled to find a place to eat and drink during the day; somewhere friendly and welcoming and genuine. Now eve found it. We don’t be looking any further. Best breakfast around. Great lunches too. Beer in iced glasses and a warm welcome for the dogs. Thank you
First time visiting and I can highly recommend this bar. Simple pub grub but very well done and looked after by great staff . Nice and clean and having heard about the breakfast I'll definitely be back to sample one
We have not been to Oscars for a while but we were invited by a friend for lunch, who was immediately disappointed by the menu, simple basic food which if done well is ok, but it’s just not. Oscars has become a cafe selling the same food everywhere sells, breakfasts sandwiches, and frozen stuff. There was no specials, home made quiche, pies or steaks. If you want something different, with quality food head elsewhere because you won’t find it here. Its a cafe as was pointed out to me by a flustered at rimes abrupt waitress, who when I asked for a dry white wine, replied “we are a cafe and only do one wine” ? When we sat at a table we had to ask for it to be sanitized. The welcome was none existent and the two waitresses did not seem happy i there work. Not sure if the owner is about but they need to be. The Cutlery was thrown in the middle of the table. The food, again very poor, they ran out of pan, so I got sloppy wet sliced bread, with a plate full of ice lettuce. They ran out of gluten free and and to go to mas e mas to buy it, credit for that. As our party arrived separately the male waiter did not ask how we were splitting the bill and was rude when I asked for it to be split as I had to leave earlier than expected. I was told he should have been i formed earlier, I had to add it up myself. Feedback is a gift and I would urge the owners to look at the menu, get some home made specials on the menu, train your front of house staff how to welcome guests as guests not nuisances. We won’t be visiting again, sorry nor can I recommend Oscar’s to anyone. There would have been no point in complaining as I really think the staff would have cared.
Came for breakfast only. The service was a bit slow due how busy the cafe was, however the meal was nice and fresh and served with a smile
