Chaplins Bar Restaurant - Rojales

We stopped in here for a drink on the day we arrived (a Monday), we asked for a menu, and were told, we 're not really doing food , but the barmaid was happy to make us a sandwich, which we were grateful for, and it was very nice. We asked about the area, and the girl was very helpful, we thought about coming back later after dinner, so I asked what cocktails the did, as cocktails was written on the chalk board outside, the girl said they didn 't do them, as they didn 't have all the stuff for them, but we could get them in the bar next door. We got the impression Chaplins had just been taken over by new owners, or they were in the process of running the business down. They have a pool table.

Food was delicious, hot plenty of it, just had to wait a long time for it, only one girl serving the food drinks she was run off her feet, been twice before never had to wait that long, great friendly bar, I would still go again for Sunday lunch, reasonably priced with a €2.50 supplement if you had lamb, which we had it's tasty tender

Arrived at 10 past 3 for lunch 3 of us had 1 starter 3 main courses and 1 sweet in almost 3 hrs friendly woman serving food was nice but length of time to get served was ridiculous. Would I go again ......no life's too short.

This is one of my favourite and friendly bars in the Area, the staff Are friendly and you get a fab sunday lunch and they serve my fave rose larios gin which is always a bonus

After moving to the area in April we came across this friendly gem of a bar. We go there most nights for 'refreshments ' after walking our dogs. We have also eaten here, they serve fantastic Sunday roasts even cater for our hormonal, teenager (the roast dinner hater) on request they serve him meat chips. Great value for money service is always with a smile. After visiting other bars in the area I would say that we would now call Chaplins our fave/local. Definitely worth a visit.
