Been past here a few times now on our way to the Thursday market, so called in for a drink, glad to see the new owners are taking it further than the old worn out putting course, although there still needs some work doing, mostly tidying up, but it does have charm, glad to see it has a good size cover to sot under when the heat is on at lunch time, from that burning sunshine , The coffee and nibbles are of good quali... What Tourist794081 doesn't like about Casa Contenta:
Had a bacon banquette and I thought it was overpriced. It was a piece of bread with only one slice of backbacon and I paid 2.50 euro for it. Think the outside of the restaurant is really tatty. It needs urgent cleaning. Old and torn sunshades, old and torn garlands, dead plants etc. Could be a wonderful place in summer but not like this. View all feedback.

Attended a private function here last night. We arrived a little early and it was busy. Mainly Dutch I think. We sat outside and within minutes we were under attack from armies of ants and squadrons of aphids. When it was time to sit down now running 30 mins behind) we finally got our pre-ordered meal. I had a chicken skewer with chili's and salad. It tasted ok but just ok. Margaret opted for a vegetable lasagne which was in fact a meat lasagne. It wasn't cooked properly and was like warm. She ate the chips and left the dish. Desert was simple ice cream an fruit. Because Margaret hadn't eaten her main I gave her mine. We don't drink alcohol but a flat agua con gas 250ml cost 1.50€. A bit mean. We drove home to have a late evening snack of hot buttered toast to have something in our stomachs before retiring. This is not a place I will be returning to.

Prices are in with the surrounding area. Enjoyable, friendly staff and decent coffee. Will call in again in a few weeks time when were back over, may even venture to have a game of Boule ..
First visit here to eat, good selection, responsible prices, friendly staff. Very quiet possibly due to early season.
