Have lived in neighbouring St Maudan as a Brit ex-pat for three years and only recently managed to visit La Gavotte. Lovely, typically french interior on the bank of the Canal Nantes to Brest. Several lovely window views of the water and its wildlife. Excellent...choice of savoury and sweet crepes and my husband said the steak he had was the best he'd had since we came to live here! The staff are so friendly and help... View all feedback.
What Naomi Rico doesn't like about Creperie La Gavotte:
Having cycled our 50 miles to Rohan and needing supper this was the only option on a Sunday night. The restaurant was busy and the option was either crepe or gallette. My cheese and ham choice was perfectly fine but we'd had better in other...restaurants on our way up the coastline. The staff were friendly and made us welcome but I wouldn't rush back. Very French, friendly service, good food and very atmospheric. we enjoyed our meal in a beautiful environment with views of the nantes brest canal. good value for money too.
At the end of a long walk along the Nantes Brest Canal around the beautiful city rohan we have immersed in this beautiful and stylish little restaurant. pretty lovely. eating was great and very fresh. service was friendly and efficient and the ambiente revived and friendly. recommended
No care, this is an extraordinary restaurant. family-run excellent cooking, excellent eating and service. very simple atmosphere through a beautiful crew. are they wondering?
Breton restaurant specializes in delicious galettes for main course and crepes for dessert. we ate here at two nights of a long weekend. the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. the food is prepared and cooked before them with fresh ingredients and not...a fear to smash 'off pists' with their toppings. all rounded off with a large bottle more. good value, honest and very tasty.
This is a very good creperie set in a lovely old stone building off the tow path of the canal. Its spacious yet cosy and there is a nice selection of crepes with tasty fillings. Parking is available at the entrance off the square in...Rohan.
