$12 bucks for a scoop of basic grilled chicken on a scoop of rice. NO flavor. Horchata was straight up sugar water. Tortillas tasted like masa was old. Thought I would give em another try cause gorditas were fire but this was just bad. Hot sauce I asked for was not hot or flavorful at all, had to bust out the choula to make it edible. Not goin back...find yourself a legit taqueria elsewhere.
Last Saturday night (3/30/24) my family and I spent dinner. My daughter ordered chorizo tacos (photo added) she doesn't feel like eating. For that, they brought her a taco de asada and we returned it, and my wife watched as she threw the plate, THE FOOD THAT WOULD BE FOR MY DAUGHTER, ON THE COUNTER TABLE.The one who helped us is called EVELIN (Evelyn), terrible customer service. My daughter wanted a plain ice cream, and she told us that they already had the fried ice cream prepared, we only wanted a simple ice cream, she refused to serve it.And he also refused to prepare a virgin margarita that was also for my daughter.Gaby the girl who brought us the food, excellent service and although it was not her fault, she apologized to us.
The carne asada was unflavored, the tacos al pastor just meat with red chile poor in meat was 80% nervio not
I do not recommend this place. My family and I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The workers are extremely rude and incompetent. My family went after church and messed up our whole order and didn’t get some of the dishes we order at all. The girl taking the order was not the problem, however the ladies in the back were the ones deciding which order would come out first. The first person that ordered never got her order because they had “ran out” of al pastor and it was until 10-15 minutes after constant asking and waiting that the cooks decided to let the front girl know so she could inform us. One of the ladies in the back (short with blonde hair and had a kid’s bow holding some front hair back) was the one with most attitude. From the start, she was throwing the orders or rolling her eyes when they would call out an order and no one would claim it since they had messed up. Once we had the whole problem with never getting the order, you could hear all the back workers (especially this lady) talking very disrespectfully in the back and making faces. At the end, she didn’t want to give us a to-go order that was already made and ready because she wanted us to wait until all the orders were out. By this point we decided to leave and we demanded the to-go order that, again, was already ready, but they just wanted us to wait. Honestly, now I don’t even want to touch that order since the ladies seemed like the type to spit in the food prior to bagging it.
Good evening, I am very sorry for the comment that I will leave you but the truth is that they leave a lot to be desired with the customer service, they do not answer the calls, I had to call 10 times and my daughter made 5 calls and they never answer after they answer the call, they do not wait for that one finishes speaking, and they cut off the call and the bad habit of holding onto the changes that are in coins that is very bad because they are not leaving a good reputation to the restaurant, they should be more careful in that situation…….
Our first order here and we were excited. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't that great either. It was nice and hot when we got it but the Quesabirria Plate was alittle disappointing. It tasted like it was too much oil. I'm used to my quesabirria being wet bc of the consume not bc it's saturated in grease or oil. The meat was such huge chunks inside the tacos it was hard to chew. Like your chewing gum or beef jerky. Ya just had to keep chewing and chewing. The consumé was pretty good flavor-wise but very greasy as well. The Asada tacos were really chewy and could've been made with better meat and with some seasoning. There was literally no flavor other than from the onion and cilantro on top. Good thing about this place is they are open late and they would be great for people who have been out drinking all night, don't care about taste and need some greasy food to soak up the alcohol.
