Having read the menu on the board o... read more Finding a good restaurant without a reservation on a Saturday evening in June wasn't easy which is what brought us to L'O12. Having read the menu on the board outside we were a bit taken aback to discover there was no printed menu inside just...a verbal account by the waiter who didn't speak English. However he quickly found someone who spoke very good English to explain the bits we hadn't understood or couldn't remember. There are no starters but we shared an excellent smoked salmon salad followed by the brochette of chicken and duck for me and steak for my husband. The desserts are simple we had chocolate mousse and a tarte aux fraises. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This is an enterprise which deserves to do well and is definitely worth visiting. Price wise it represents very good value.
