So glad we chose this restaurant. It is the most memorable on our trip to Central France. We both had different seafood meals and they were exquisite served with what you expect a good French restaurant to serve as an accompaniment. We chose a superb bottle of wine again the most memorable and I have to say not the most expensive of our trip. It was a delight with our prawn dishes. So good I peeled the label off in t... What Roger Berthelot doesn't like about Le kiosque:
Perhaps our error was not ordering seafood, which is what this place is known for - everyone with shellfish seemed quite pleased with their dishes. We had two salads, the duck, and the lamb, and it really was completely uninspired, not to mention the severely overcooked duck was like chewing rubber. Quite disappointing. The only reason I give a 3 instead of a 2 is that the staff were very nice and service was good. A... View all feedback.
We are somewhat apprehensive about the fixed-price menus in France because we have had such mixed experiences previously but we need not have worried. To have a high quality, three-course meal presented by professional wait staff, plus a complimentary amuse bouche (a stack of mini...More

So good I peeled the label off in the hope of finding it again - alas no. The waiter commented on our good choice of wine and only after tasting did I see why.
Took my mum for a Sunday lunch...actually she did in February. Lovely restaurant lovely service and we loved our food. Well presented and fresh. From the starter to the dessert. Super! Merci. Will come back.
This establishment is situated in the heart of the public garden in front of bandstand dating the 20s in the shade of lime trees.Le Kiosque proposes you a cooking based on the fish, the seafood as well as Portuguese specialities without forgetting the flavours Aveyronnaises that you can have a rough time since his shaded terrace.Label France Restaurant Masters
We've eaten lunch here 5 or 6 times before. It has always been crowded with locals - a great sign of a good restaurant and I advise reserving the day before. I also advise trying the full 'menu of the day' (about 15 euros) - or the special plate of the day. We tried one of each (on a Friday) - both superb fish dishes. You may have to wait to get served, but it is really worth the wait. We had an excellently balanced meal - wonderful taste for each dish - great value. If you like oysters - then, here, with a glass of good white wine or champagne - they are just the perfect way to begin the meal. Highly recommended for lunch - and just a lovely place to eat it.
