Ricky's Corner - Rodeo
Ricky's Corner
Description
A long-running, family-owned East Bay favorite, this neighborhood spot is celebrated for its garlic fried chicken, generous JoJo-style potato wedges and comforting, nostalgic vibe. Service is warm and personal, with a lively bar that keeps locals socializing while orders cook. Takeout is popular and portions are large; food is reliably well cooked though batches can vary. Expect waits (often 45–60 minutes) and occasional communication hiccups, but many patrons keep coming back for the classic comfort food.

This is truly the best fried chicken I've ever had! You have to try the garlic chicken—you won't regret it! The large bucket of chicken includes JoJo fries, too! We even plan our family dinners around this chicken! There might be a wait, but it's absolutely worth every minute.
The best fried chicken anywhere here in the eastbay. Try it. You won't be disappointed. You'll just want more. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10
On Father’s Day me and my family tried to call in a pick up order since my grandparents used to enjoy this place years ago. We promptly started calling after 5pm when they supposedly opened but it would either ring and go to voicemail or we would get a busy signal. We figured they must have been helping other customers and decided to drive from our home in Tiburon to order in person. Once we arrived, it was obvious that they were closed- no note on the door as to why, nor even having the courtesy of letting customers know on their voicemail. I called and left a voicemail with a request to be called back, but of course, they did not even have the respect to do that. I would certainly give them 0 stars if I could. Their chicken is average, I was only taking my grandparents there because they used to come when they lived here in California but this definitely left a stain in our perception of this place- it has certainly gone down hill.
