KFC Cross Iron - Rocky View

Love the chicken strips at KFC but these tasted like they made up a breading because they ran out of the signature coating. Not at all like the classic KFC coating. So the service was okay, the staff were nice but the chicken strips were not up to par. I would not go here again the next time I visit Cross Iron.

Yes, they were busy when I showed up, but cashier Jasvir did not make me feel unimportant. She did a good job and the food was as expected. Spent 10.50 for a lunch In the food court.

KFC has its quality control act together so it is nice to salute a cashier like Oshyn instead of yapping about food. Yeah, yeah, the food was as it should be, but this young lady's smile in the midst of rush hour and a zillion customers was so pleasant. Location: CrossIron food court

With all the new locations of Popeye's Chicken opening in Calgary you would think the Colonel's crew would up their game to keep a market share. Nope. Well at least this busy mall food court location appears to be doing the opposite. I ordered a chicken, fries and drink meal that I had my choice of soggy coleslaw, nasty macaroni salad or gravy. I took the later. I bought this at noon on a Saturday and there as no line at this kiosk. This should have been a clue. If you eat here get extra napkins to wipe up the old grease you wring out of the chicken to save your arteries some damage. The drink is drinkable but don't even think about pouring the gravy on the fries. Try it first and let me know what you think it tastes like. Not gravy right. Anyhoo save yourself grease pains eat some where else. Anywhere else.
