During this time of year, we would typically be in Rome enjoying the best pizza in the world. However, due to Covid restrictions, we are instead enjoying the fall in Ontario. The place is cozy, we want to try local business every time we move to a new town instead of driving to our usual place. The pizza combo is a good price the pizza is good but we have tasted better. View all feedback.
Delicious, nicely presented dishes at a great price. The staff is always eager to please and assists in designing custom pizza creations.
We were thrilled to find this place when we moved to rockwood 3 years ago. something has changed. the pizza is still good, although light on the cheese. double cheese ordered, but disappointed.
Stopped here to grab a slice at lunch time. They didn't have any pizza ready. You would think that they would be prepared as it is one of the two busy meal times they are open for. Sad.
Saw this place while visiting the town of Rockwood, and just had to try pizza from a place called the Purple Pig. So glad we did!! The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. We got the 1 topping walk in special. We will definitely be...back next time we are in town!
Sure there's chain restaurants but in all of my days travelling, I have found that our best, most enjoyable food experiences come from giving our dollars and time to small town independently owned and operated establishments. The Purple Pig Pizzeria caught our eye while in...Rockwood, a small town about 15 minutes from Guelph. An odd name, odd marketing color scheme and menu design but our 15 minute visit there was great! Customer service was tops! Front service gal was a Great conversationalist.
