That was my first time I tried Filipino food. We had a great experience. The lady at the counter tells us every dish and we choose what we thought we would be happy. Everything tasted good! We ordered rice and pork and noodles and chicken. We also packed some frozen pork chops from the shop in the restaurant. Come back to try something else. View all feedback.
What NoleMan R doesn't like about Kc Filipino:
Stingy with the portions. The halohalo was a disappointment. Lots of shaved ice and the jackfruit tasted a little off. ‘Saving grace’ were the pork sinigang and the fried bangus. View all feedback.
As for the food, I was a bit disappointed with the Crispy Pata. It wasn't as crispy as I had hoped; there were still a lot of fatty and sticky skin parts, which might have been due to not frying it long enough and the number of customers present at that time. In terms of flavor, it was rather bland, lacking in herbs and spices. I also ordered a dish that resembled beef curry (I’m not sure of its name), which I actually enjoyed. It had a mild taste, and the beef was cooked nicely. I rounded out my meal with a BBQ pork skewer and fried banana, both of which were just okay – rather plain and too sweet for my taste. Regarding the service, as mentioned earlier, this is a casual dining spot, so don’t expect a professional level of service. It’s an ordinary and informal restaurant, though it does have plenty of dining space with many tables. If you have some background in Filipino food, it may enhance your visit to this place. However, if you're looking for a challenge and want to learn about authentic Filipino style cuisine, you'll be fine too. As a final note, before leaving, I bought a Filipino dessert simply because I liked the violet color. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it wasn’t anything special.
The portion sizes were quite small. I was disappointed with the halo-halo; there was too much shaved ice, and the jackfruit didn't taste quite right. The highlights of the meal were definitely the pork sinigang and the fried bangus.
The food was incredible! The chicken adobo and pork menudo were both flavorful and delicious. It was quite busy during lunch, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. I’ll be returning to try more dishes and check out the snacks at their mini market!
Great food and owner/cook are friendly and helpful. Great food options.Parking: Great location off of 355.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible by wheelchair
Last week I paid 9.95 for pancit/noodle bowl and today 10.95. My daughter-in-law who is Filipino said I was overcharged. I paid over 15.00 for 2 egg rolls and a noodle bowl. While their food is tasty, they need to be more transparent with their pricing. Please post your prices in your restaurant so people don’t have to rely on a person’s memory. Also paper menus with prices will help.
