Inan Sushi - Rockville

First visit and last: the food was horrible, the managers are too busy to come see how our first visit panned out, and the bugs are off the chain! Lawd have mercy! I should've gone to Kenaki Sushi Counter where the food is fresh!

I will go back again! My sashimi was great and fresh My spider maki was 3/5 soft shell crab) But over all it was better than most Japanese restaurants in the area for now!

STOP! Don't scroll past this review! I ordered sushi rolls from Kusshi last night via DoorDash, I ate a couple no issue. Well my son and mother ate the California roll and nearly choked on the roll. After spitting it out they pulled out plastic (see picture). I contacted DoorDash and they issued me a partial refund smh. I then contacted the restaurant directly and they said sorry can you send the picture to us via text. Im not sure how much more they could do to make me a more satisfied customer because I will NEVER eat here again and I caution anyone who plans to. Side note I woke up with a horrendous stomach bug the next morning. Check Mai review from June 2020 she found plastic in her sushi

Upon entering you're greeted and everything. You could easily tell they have very good ventilation inside due to the free flowing of fresh cool air. The decor of the restaurant is very modern and relaxed. There is TV's available near the bar area. The employees are very friendly and highly professional. Also very social and relaxed. The pricing was very good for restaurant sushi. Due to being in Bethesda. You would think the pricing would be higher here but it's not which is a major plus. For the current pricing. The sushi meals are almost a heck of a deal for restaurant sushi. The portion sizes aren't bad for the pricing. Also the sushi was very fresh and tasted amazing. The overall cleanliness of the place was spotless. Also the tables as well as the plates and glasses are very clean. They have a outside dining area as well SEE PICS , I sat inside so can't comment on the outside dining area really. They're very attentive regarding drink refilling so never had to wait on a refill. The water tasted very good and highly filtered which is a major plus. The parking is very easy and it's FREE for the first two hours. There is Two EV chargers in the garage however they're level 2 volta chargers and not ev superchargers. The general crowd is mainly middle to high class. Mainly adults. No kids really. The noise levels were normal for a sushi restaurant which is relaxed calm. Overall. A sushi place. No downfalls really. Free parking, good sushi pricing Excellent service Customer for life.

I just moved to the area and have been dying to eat here even after all the bad reviews I heard from people personally know. The sushi wasn't good at all. The execution is there but the flavors are not. The best thing about this place is the mini store they have inside of the restaurant with Asian snacks. They also have about 2 or 3 other restaurants part of their space. Will probably not eat here again.
