Used to come to this chipotle all the time, but will not be returning after today. One of the two burrito bowls had a live bug crawling around the food!! Disgusting. View all feedback.
I placed my order through the Chipotle app. I picked up my order and got in the car. I saw that the top two bowls that the lids were crushed and were set on top of the bowls and not even attached to the bowls, so I looked at the contents, and it was barely any food in the bowls. In fact, the contents just covered the bottom of the bowl. I drove back to show that this was not what I paid for. I showed the manager, and she looked at me like, What do you want me to do about? I said, look, there is barely any food in the bowls. Her reply was that each order got 4oz of chicken. Mind you that each bowl had one piece of chicken in it, and it looked like they sprinkled enough rice to cover the bottom of the bowl. I ask for her to make me two new bowls or give me a refund, and I 'll go somewhere else that cares and wants my business. NO APOLOGIES.. She walks off to somewhere in the back. So I asked another employee where she was going? He said online orders are made in the back of the restaurant.. I replied, Go get her. I preferred that she remake my order in front of me. So she did, and after completing my order, she told one of the cashiers to put my order in a bag, and she just walked off to the back. AGAIN NO APOLOGIES, NO SORRY THAT THIS HAPPENED. Before leaving, I told the cashier that the two original bowls were on the table behind her and to discard them. She said, That 's not my job. You need to throw them away. So I did. I will ever go back to this location again.
Unfortunately, my own experience here has gotten worse over time. I wish I could say it was good because I used to love this place but lately it’s just been pretty bad. Between orders that haven’t been right for the last couple of months, to dealing with staff who will ignore you, too having my order rescinded twice (The only good thing I can say about that is that they did refund me). It’s just been frustrating and I will not be returning anytime soon.
What happened to this location? Been coming since highschool many years ago. Sloppiest most incompetent lazy unmotivated unhappy staff ever. Also this place is a dump through and through. Management really doesn’t care. They must be working from home 24/7 or don’t have one at all.
I was hired at this location 27 days ago. Management, namely Xavier, completely ghosted me after that. He totally ducked all my calls and texts, always sending me straight to voicemail, and even when I called the store he was magically taking out the trash every time. He finally texted me back after I called corporate HR no less than 7 times to ask when I 'm going to be scheduled to work. Management is the reason this store is filthy and customer experience is in the toilet. Even when they hire competent employees, INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT falls to manage them properly...or in my case even schedule them in the first place. I just wanted to keep busy and work close to my gym, but after this experience you couldn 't pay me enough to work here.
This Chipotle branch on “Shady Grove Rd, Rockville, MD” is a disgrace. I've been a loyal Chipotle customer for years, frequently visiting various branches, including this one. However, in the past few months, since a new crew took over, this place has become a hotbed of blatant discrimination against white customers. Every time I visit, I receive shockingly small portions compared to what I get at other branches. The staff is consistently rude to me, yet they lavish black customers with overflowing bowls and friendly service. I've seen the same thing happen to other white customers. It's not just me—this biased behavior is a pattern. I've witnessed this appalling behavior four times over the last few months. It's clear that this crew harbors deep-seated biases and is using their positions to exact some sort of revenge against white people. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a chain restaurant where customer service should be impartial and professional. Chipotle needs to train their employees that the workplace is not a forum for personal vendettas or historical grievances. I strongly advise white customers to avoid this branch. If you dare to complain about the tiny portions, the staff will gang up on you and even charge you for a double portion. After a decade of being a faithful Chipotle patron, this experience has soured me to the point where I am considering boycotting the chain altogether. I feel deeply insulted and will not tolerate this mistreatment any longer.
