I placed an order online and was very disappointed. The bacon on the sweet pepper bacon croissant was completely burnt, the avocado toast was cold, and they were out of munchkins. They said they would issue a refund when I returned, but overall, I would give fewer stars if I could. In my opinion, this location is a waste of a storefront!
When you work at a fast food restaurant and are asked to layer the Munchkins so that one flavor isn’t on the bottom, don’t roll your eyes at me—explain why certain Munchkins need to be placed at the bottom. I didn’t even realize it could be due to a nut allergy. Please educate your customers instead of being rude. I will never return. Another loyal customer lost!
On December 5th, I visited this restaurant and ordered a coffee and a sandwich. After a wait of 25 minutes, I received my order of turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. However, upon opening it, I found that it contained bacon, which I cannot eat. I returned the sandwich and asked for a replacement, but unfortunately, the second sandwich was also made with bacon. When I pointed this out again, the middle-aged cook insisted it was sausage, despite me showing him the bacon. I then went to another staff member who assured me they would fix the error. Thankfully, a young man with red hair stepped in and ultimately prepared a correct sandwich for me. However, the unpleasant cook did not offer any apology during the entire situation. While I waited for my order to be rectified, I also observed another customer receive the wrong drink. It's evident that this location needs better training and organization.
I’m giving this restaurant two stars, and it’s only because of the coffee. During my visit, the staff completely neglected me—I didn’t even receive a simple greeting or an offer to take my order. At first, I thought it was just me, but I noticed that other customers in line were experiencing the same lack of interaction. The service was quite strange. However, the black iced coffee I ordered was good. Just keep in mind that the staff at this place in Rockport aren’t very communicative.
