I am glad O lar is back. Call ahead and get a reservation. Marinera paella was the best dish, worth it every time. Also was able to get a pitcher of sangria, which is best in town. Overall everything was amazing. I definitely recommend making reservations. View all feedback.

Went with a group of 8. Asked ahead if there was a quieter area in which to be seated but was told there was not. The food was great, the selection was wonderful, the tapas were delightful. Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. The noise level was incredible. We could only talk with the person next to us if we leaned toward them. A friend across the table from me joked that we should just text each other. I might go back on an early weekday night but only if the parking lot was not too busy. If you want a place to talk to friends this is not it. Walking into the quiet of the parking lot was a relief. We all felt that we would be hoarse later like we had attended a concert. I really hope the owner reads this review and does something to bro g down the noise. He will lose business otherwise.
Amazing meal at Olar Noso. Fully loaded seafood paella with tons of jumbo scallops, shrimps, clams and mussels. Everything was cooked to perfection. The razor clams tapas was equally delicious. Services were great. Everyone was super attentive. Huge wine selection as well.
Food was fine. Not best at all. Service was excellent. Notified when presenting bill that restaurant is cash only. Absolutely no indication when we walked in or on menu or when we sat down to place our order. Waiter stated there is a cash machine if you need to pay the bill. Spoke with manager and explanation was it's on social media (mind you there is no web site) and we've been this way since Piermont so you should know. I've been to places cash only. It's fine and we know going in because it's told and advertised. Sneaking a couple in and using your cash machine as means to pay a bill. Disgusting how you can get away with not telling people you are cash only until bill is served
I used to dine at the old location was happy to see the pandemic didn't close them they actually moved into a bigger space! We didn't make a reservation and it was 6pm-the start of prime time-but the hostess was very cordial and accommodating and we had no problem sitting in the bar area. The only problem we had is that it took quite some time for the bartender to actually come and take a drink order. We were the only ones in the sitting area, and there were three people at the bar. No problem, she eventually took our order. It happens. But within the hour when the sitting area was filled, I heard complaint after complaint of the patrons on either side of us trying to get her attention as they have been waiting for over 15 minutes and still hadn't been approached for a drink order. By this time, it had grown quite loud, which generally isn't a problem for me, but it was the choice of music they played I really don't feel hard/classic rock is fitting for the type of restaurant it's clientele. Then comes the food. We just ordered a few appetizers, and the octopus was exquisite as always! But although the mussels were lovely and meaty, there was minimal flavor to them. A bit disappointing. Perhaps a bit of acid or something to make the broth a bit more flavorful. But the kicker to my whole experience is when we went to pay the bill, and it was told to us that it was cash only. There was no notice on the door, no notice on the hostess stand, no mention of it by the hostess nor the bartender/server, and not a mention of it on the menu as well. It was a bit shocking and embarrassing when I went to pay with a card. Perhaps if I was aware of their policy beforehand, I could have brushed off the service food, it would have been a better experience.
