We chose this place among other reasons because it is dog friendly. The shaded patio is great and they are very solicitous of dogs and their humans, bringing water right away. The food is authentic Italian, not Italian-American. It's a bit on the expensive side but not outrageous. View all feedback.
What Frank I doesn't like about Brick Oven Pizza:
This is our second visit in a month. The first time everything was great. This visit was disappointing . We ordered take out sandwiches for dinner same as before. The food was ok. Service was on point. A bit pricey for the portion this time. Where's the beef? View all feedback.

We were looking for a nice, hot submarine sandwich, and ended up doing carryout here. The cheesesteak sub was quality beef (a pet peeve of mine) , and seasoned perfectly. The sesame seed roll complemented it perfectly. Will order from them again, and will try the pizza next time, because everyone raved about it.
We both got the pizza. It was just meh. It didn’t taste like they used quality ingredients. They used gobs and gobs of cheese on top that we both peeled off. Pizza on the boardwalk is prob better.
The staff are very welcoming and the whole vibe of the restaurant is great. I can say that their pizzas are authentic!
Great food. I have a fig pizza that was delicious . Two in our group had meat sandwiches that were first rate quality meat on soft buns, accompanied by tasty fries. Even kids ate their pizzas. One other adult enjoyed her caprese salad. Outdoor service was enjoyable. Of the three restaurants we chose for supper, Poppi’s was by far thebest.
