Went to Archerfield with my partner Vince and his brother in law Graham, never been to speedway before but Graham has been involved for most of his life, it was a great night, very exciting and we even went into the pits after and met Kevin Titman, as Graham knows him well and used to work for his father John Titman when he was doing motorcycle speedway years ago. What User doesn't like about BP Archerfield:
If you are going to eat at the BP Archerfield Truckstop I suggest you use an anti diarrhoea prior to consuming any food from their restaurant ! And have plenty of toilet paper on hand & close proximity to an toilet ! ( have eaten here on several occasions & ended up with stomach gastro every time in fact I'm writing this as I'm going through the motions right now Floors are filthy, cutlery is left in the open uncover... We usually eat at the Roadhouse Cafe attached to the Coles Express nearby, which unfortunately has limited trading hours and was closed so we tried this place. The venue, atmosphere and staff were a definite plus. Staff were helpful, friendly, accommodating, and good at what they do.the place was clean, good size tables and seating arrangements. The atmosphere, although full of trackies and flannos (it was a cool night), seemed to be full of groups enjoying themselves and their food. Don 't get me wrong, the food was okay, nothing really wrong with it, but compared to what is served at the other roadhouse cafe nearby, it just didn 't compare. The food at this place was warm (not hot), average size servings (or filled up with chips), and not particularly flavoursome. Some of the bain marie food looked dried out. Reasonably good value for money, but I 'd still recommend trying the other place (in Rocklea), and you 'll see what I mean
I ordered a burger, but they were out of patties. I won't be returning to this restaurant again. The service from the waitresses seemed to vary depending on the person.
I really enjoy the atmosphere at this restaurant. The food is amazing and cooked perfectly. The service is fast and efficient. Great job, guys!
I was impressed to see a young woman who was so skilled at her job. I don't know her name, but the woman at the front desk really brought the restaurant to life. The food was excellent and the facilities were clean.
After ordering 5 steak sandwiches including hamburger chips , last Friday 7-05-21 , as usual took them back 2 work gave them out 2 the ppl and WOW, everyone complained to me how tuff the steak was, I think you should get a b-double truck to run over it to tenderize it, no more ordering on Fridays
