We had a lovely family lunch for our first visit to this local restaurant. We all partook in the $13.90 lunch special of a burger, wrap or salad with a soft drink. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. The Buffalo Chicken Burger is spicy for those of you who have a mild palate. The kids meal of a cheeseburger and fries was huge. This also came with ice cream. The service was friendly and efficient. We'd highly recommend this... View all feedback.

Took day off work to see a movie and have lunch with my wife.Walked into the restaurant and no one was there to greet us. Our families fave place to go for lunch, love the American inspired menu and the 2L beer towers. Get a booth if you are with children.
Corner location with outside seating good for a warm night large eating area booths available bookings taken, I seated and was advised a half price offer on ribs and beer I choose the pork ribs with buffalo sauce and substitute the chips with mash - mash was charged extra on payment and I was not advised by staff this was the case ($3.90) I did not enjoy the ribs taste with the buffalo sauce it tasted sour when eaten with the basted ribs. The ribs themselves were two large serves pink on the inside and pulled off easily with a fork. The supplied salad was very small about a tablespoon serve size If i had paid full price I would have made a comment. Would i go back ? The atmosphere is good for groups not in my mind for couples on a special night out SO on today's visit no.
Popped in for a late lunch. Quick to be seated, first time visiting, the menu had something for everyone. Hubby got the Kilo Meat board and it was quite nice, good serving of chips with it too, but hardly touched as the meat was very filling and delicious. I ordered a Smokey Parma and that was a big sized portion as well. Cant wait to go back and have a few beers in a booth or behind the bar when Summer kicks in.
I've been going to the Globe for a few months now, and it is a nice place to eat that (generally) has decent food with good specials. However, today I went for lunch, ordered a meal and asked them to give me shoestring fries instead of the normal chips, this normally isn't an issue and incurs no cost. When I went to pay, I was charged 4 dollars for the pleasure of having shoestring fries, and the kicker is the waiter did not tell me this at the time.So basically, I paid RRP for chips with my meal, while they removed the chips that I would have gotten with my meal for no compensation.I raised the issue with bar staff at time of sale, and was told 'that's how it is'.Really disappointing.

A number walked past, but after 10 minutes we gave up and went elsewhere.
