Sitar Indian Restaurant - Rockhampton

Well, would like to start off with their service, best ever service you could get from a restaurant. And to top it off, the taste of their food cant get any better. **** tasty and decent enough servings. Butter chicken and the chicken korma in the menu are the best ever curries. OMG i should say with no doubt they are the best indian in rockhampton. Good rich,creamy flavours and quality cuts of meats in their dishes. We started getting indian once a week now thanks to them. Thanks sitar you guys are the best.

Ordered a two person deal from the restaurant, got charged 12 dollars for delivery and the food was appalling. Worst Indian food I've had in a long time. Butter Chicken And lamb Korma was thick, sweet, overly creamy and not the least of what Indian food should taste like. Overpriced, and I'll never order from them again. Highly disappointing.

Dinner here was delicious especially the sweet squash with mustard seeds which perfectly complemented the lamb in lentil sauce. Unlike an earlier review, the portions were a perfect size particularly if you order naan or appetizers. The friendly staff kindly made some dishes mild for a couple of us and hotter for others.

This was such a great experience :) we ordered the rogan josh and the saag gost and it was just so full of flavour! The condiments were a refreshing addition, loved the naan (so fluffy) and staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming! Great atmosphere, we definitely will be back as part of a weekly routine! Thank you for one of the best meals we've had in a long, long time!

Love Sitar in Rockhampton, they get my vote for best restaurant in town. They also do beautiful Sri Lankan curries.
