Great roast dinners and basic, old fashioned favourite desserts. I'm vegetarian and husband isn't, so we get 2 dinners with meat and gravy in one box and just vegetables in the other box. Both happy. View all feedback.
What Jasen O'Kon doesn't like about Applejacks:
After many visits trying to roast beef(cheese), roast pork(dry), silver side(dough), Lasgne(wet sloppy mess), rissoles(tasteless and dry), pesto pasta(full of fat/oil) The vegetables are advertised as Roast-Vegien, but they are fried in the deep frit, definitely not what advertised, I got an additional portion of meat... a week it was $1.50 the next week it was $2 for only 1 piece of meat! I had the roast beef, it was cooked beautifully. It was juicy and delicious. The veggies that came with the meal were delicious and cooked perfectly. Will defiantly be coming back.
My wife of 40 years came here last Friday night to celebrate our first meeting on November 10, 1974.
Had the halibut and goat cheese polenta cake with spinachAlong with 2 dirty Martinis with blue cheese olives.
My wife and I were craving some really fresh fish and didn't feel like driving 6 hours to California.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. It was definitely the best value meal I've ever had. Thank you, Applejack, I will definitely be returning.
