Valley Mill Pub Grill - Rockford

Chef Joshua is the best cook in the Rockford area, and this restaurant is so lucky to have him. Kimmy, the bartender on Thursdays and Saturdays, is fantastic and makes the most delicious homemade margaritas, crafted with top-quality ingredients and lots of love. Plus, the terrace is dog-friendly! The journey to Kirschtal is definitely worth it!

I never bothered checking anything, but this place is too fantastic to overlook. The service was outstanding, and they allowed us to sit with our dog on the veranda. We enjoyed two icy drinks, a root beer float, a John Daly, and a delicious double peanut butter, bacon, and jelly burger (absolutely fantastic—not the low-fat version, but who cares?). We also had some onion rings and ice cream, all for under $40, including the tip. This is such an amazing place to eat. Don’t miss out on it!

My wife and I visited Steve Valley Milling Pub today for a late lunch. She ordered the Philly cheesesteak, while I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was fantastic. Our server was at least a 9 out of 10; she returned to our table in a timely manner and contributed to making our visit enjoyable. We will definitely be back! July 2017.

My large (15) group meets there once per month, and they (staff) have to screw up. very attentive service, friendly and funny, and they remember all our names after only 3 times! who does this? while I think they could use more help on the days we visit, the service is still quite good. I have to admit, I liked the tweeper rings better than it was back yard bar grill, but they are still good, and always hot and fresh. my fraction would not hesitate to say this if it was not right, and there was no complaining.

A friendly spot for a wonderful half pound burger and thick cut steak fries. I went there with a sizeable group which I think overwhelmed the kitchen. Food delivery was a little slow but the flavor and quality of the food was outstanding. A couple free little sips of beer from the bar (tastings during an otherwise business lunch (shhh!
