Tom Jerry's - Rockford

Oh my gosh, the Italian sub (with a blend of spicy, sweet peppers and cheese) is incredibly authentic and delicious! I have to admit, I live quite far from Phoenix, Arizona, but I visited family for Father's Day. I went to this restaurant right after leaving the airport! I can't find a sandwich like this in the Phoenix area! It's truly the best!

The restaurant is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. However, the service doesn't quite match the expectations for a casual dining experience. The gyros and hot dogs are delicious, but I found the king-sized portion to be too much for one sitting. The lettuce and tomatoes in the gyros were fresh and visually appealing. They also have a touchscreen soda machine with Pepsi products that lets you customize your drinks, which is a nice touch. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfectly cooked in clean oil. While the decor is somewhat dated—it reminds me of Burger King from the 1990s—it is still clean.

One of the best places to eat in Rockford! If you haven’t been there yet, I promise you won’t be disappointed! The Greek and fajita dishes are both delicious and packed with flavor! Their burgers are hearty, and they pair perfectly with the mac and cheese—so yummy!

Love the people who work there. they are so polite. the baked potato with broccoli and cheese is good only wishing that they put more broccoli on it. I also went back and tried the cream of chicken and rice soup and it's the best I ever had.

Lunch today was delicious. We had Gyros and both types of fries.
