The Top Rooftop Lounge - Rockford

We had a fantastic brunch at The Top! It was our first visit, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating right from the start. We ordered the classic breakfast board and the crème brûlée waffles, both of which arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. We also tried a mimosa and a blueberry pancake cocktail, but our waitress informed us that the bartender was unavailable, so our drinks would take longer than anticipated. However, this was not an issue at all. When the drinks finally arrived, they were excellent, and our waitress generously offered to comp the Blueberry Pancake cocktail, which was a nice surprise. Overall, the staff were very friendly and everything was wonderful! We’ll definitely be back to sample more of the delicious menu items!

The restaurant offers innovative cuisine, with each dish featuring unique elements that create a burst of flavors. The cocktails are just as impressive as the food; every sip is a delightful explosion of taste. There's outdoor seating with fire pits and an intriguing layout, but since it was a bit cool out, we opted to dine inside. The atmosphere was perfect, and the staff were courteous, kind, and professional. It made for a wonderful date night dinner before our evening adventure in Coronado, where we enjoyed the company of Admiral James Tiberius Kirk from the United Federation of Planets and the formidable Khan!

From start to finish this was a good place to start out the night!a Few drinks Wich I didn't find one I was not happy with, roof on fire was my personal favorite! A couple appetizers. Brisket flat bread and I believe Thai drummies ... was all great ! Atmosphere was very chill and the views are amazing overlooking the river and city. Will definitely be going back! Service was fairly quick for how busy it was but got quiet after 830 pm .

Unfortunately, our recent visit to The Top Rooftop Bar Lounge left us with a negative impression due to the less than satisfactory customer service provided by our server. Despite the quality of the food being decent, the unprofessional attitude and lack of customer service skills exhibited by the server greatly detracted from our overall experience. It is disappointing to see such behavior in a hospitality establishment, and we hope that steps are taken to improve the level of service provided in the future.

You come here for the ambiance. The view. Probably the nicest view of Rockford! Especially at sunset. Wait staff were very friendly. And the place was tidy. Downtown Rockford is quite small.
