This is a place in Rockford. It is LGBTQ safe space and is very friendly and welcoming. I was there several times a weekend and on weekdays. Beverages are good inexpensive, you know that they only take cash, no credit/debt cards. There are video poker machines, two bars and a dance floor on the first level. Beautiful place, but they have lacked in audiences and bartenders need a little more skill in remembering to make customers drinks after their order. after approx. 10 minutes wait for a drink that ha daren already paid for leaving for ended because they serve others who are before us. Very disappointed in Nye music by the dj who wouldn't take music suggestions that I tried for him to play. Just played beat music all night long. No lyrics no recognized Artists. Just beat music. Sucked.
The club has good space with an upstairs location where they had a drag show. The bartenders are very nice. Disappointed in the dj who was playing beats music all night long. No words just boom boom music. very surprised for a gay club that it is. Lastly when it came time for the bar to close the dj kept playing music so people kept dancing of course...when the music finally stopped about 45 minutes after due closing. A bar employee was screaming at everyone to get the f$@k out the bar now . Everyone Get the f$@k out now he was so rude. I told him the music was playing of course people would still dance and we are paying customers. Don 't talk to us like that. He kept it up. I 've never been been there before. My mom's friend sometimes shows here and honestly hes a big support to her.
