Mitten Pizza Company - Rockford

Yikes, this pizza was not good. We ordered several pizzas for an event a few days ago because we LOVE the pizza from their original location. The crust was so tough and they had barely any toppings on. I could eat at their other location every day of my life but we won’t be back here.

I was very disappointed in the curse of the goat pizza. The crust was soggy, hardly any toppings, really had to look for the sausage and it looked like they used cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella. The basil was definitely not fresh, I had it before at the other mitten location and it was delicious. I will not order from that location again.

Pizza is good on the right day(have had some bad days where it's not cooked fully) but they are literally only serving pizza 3.5 hours out of their entire work day since they open at 4 and close at 8. Sorta a joke having hours like that.Wondering why you can't order pizza at 730? Yup its bc they close at 8. As in walking out the door.? beyond ridiculous

I really wanted to like mitten pizza because it's just around the corner. Sorry, no. If I can save my neighbors some disappointment, this review will be worth it because I don't like to give bad reviews.Crust was very tough and pretty flat.I really like that they have a range of toppings, it's too bad they all taste like the same thing which seems to be cheese and a spicy sauce.We ordered a custom pizza with five traditional toppings that nearly doubled the pie price. The toppings seemed to be placed on the inner portion of the pizza rather than the whole thing.Considering how circles work it seemed like we got about 1/3 the total amount of toppings we should have. It was a good science illustration to consider the area of a circle. I'm trying to find positive things here.So we did get some enjoyment from this experience, it's just that we won't be back.

I LOVE Mitten Brewing Company and was super excited to find this spot but their pizzas were a total disappointment. I ordered the vegan hog heaven, it was missing the chipotle style spicy (ish) sauce, they tossed a small handful of the tortilla crisps on it and didn’t bother to marinate the jackfruit in the usual sauce instead it was just sprinkled on there without any kind of flavor.I received the text that my order was ready, I picked up the order 4 minutes later and sat down to eat it just 5 minutes after that … it was so cold I had to microwave it.No a good look for a MBC brand.Vegetarian options: Love all of their vegan options.Kid friendliness: Good options for picky eaters.Parking: Located right inside the gas station with an ice cream shop right next door.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options to include a homemade ranch dipping sauce.
