What Filiberto Lynch doesn't like about Bb Soul Food:
They're fish, string beans, and yams are pretty good, the food wasn't hot, we never got our bread and they seemed a little uncoordinated. I want this place to be around so I will continue to refer people and they could easily improve their rating by being more professional, spruce up the place a bit and work on their system with serving you food that's hot and the process flows View all feedback.
Excellent food, good service. the owner was very attentive to the detail. she wanted to be sure she sent out the best food. black laces were damp, Mac-n-cheese was very creamy and lima bon in my mouth melted.
Omg! BB Soul Food is where its at if your looking for some good down south home cooked(yes home cooked)meal! The services was fast friendly. Loved every moment. Oh they played my kind of music(smooth r 'n ' b jazz) to go along w/ the meal! YAY!

My experience at BB was very good. The food is seasoned good, cat fish was fried to perfection,yams very good. The food was well worth the money. It's a good restaurant for Rockford.
It has a 5/5, and I can't change it. Truthfully, the service is great, food is good (not great, much more bland than I make at home) I wish the prices were posted, but they are not. Got catfish dinner, it was $15. 2 pc catfish 3 sides I got mac&cheese (it was nothing special), yams (sweet) and green beans (only thing with flavor, mostly salty. My cornbread was slightly burnt, and could use molasses, hot sauce or butter. I tossed it, It really wasn't to my taste. Good for a healthy bite. Just know the food is basic, service is great.
