Banana Cherry Bakery - Rockford

Wow, these are the best pastries I've ever had! We tried the morning beans, the mandel croissant, and a regular croissant, and I can't get enough! I'm actually considering driving back to Rockford just to get more. If you're headed in the opposite direction, make sure to grab some treats for yourself!

This place is a gem in Rockford! First, the owners are incredibly kind and patient, allowing me to take my time as I asked about their baked goods. My favorite was their giant cinnamon roll, which had a delightful twist of orange zest that made it truly special. We also tried the chocolate croissant, and it was just as fantastic as the morning breadcake – you can't go wrong with either option! I can't wait to return to sample their individual cheesecakes and meatcakes. There was also a chicken croissant that I regret not noticing before I checked out, so I’ll definitely grab that next time!

Indulge in their delightful selection of pastries! They are flaky, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You'll find sausage rolls, ham and cheese croissants, cronuts, chocolate croissants, and my personal favorites—all made with almond. The ingredients are genuine and everything is freshly baked. Plus, it's a locally owned and operated gem!

- aazing! my man and I drove through rockford to come to madison and stopped a short bit. I didn't catch the names of the owners, but they were all so friendly. we had a meatcake and a lemon blueberry cook. stall down, some of the best I had! I could not recommend this place enough. they were then made up of one for a military kit, but one of the owners later appeared on our table with a chai drink that was so good! it was not definitiw something he had to do, but it really speaks volume about them!

This bakery is legit! Tried the buttery croissant, chocolate croissant, meat pie, bread pudding, apple cinnamon pastry, blueberry muffin and blueberry lemon scone and they were all good! The croissants are exquisitely buttery and flaky. All their pastries are rich and delicious. One look at what they offer and you can see the quality. If I lived in the area this would be my go to bakery.
