I came here on the week after Mother's day with a hot female date from Crest Hill and we had a great feast at their fabulous buffet. Lovely interior with red accents that brings warmth and coziness to any dining experience. The waitress was wonderful but I have since forgotten her name. (Devin! Very attentive waiters that made our dining experience memorable. Excellent brunch food items from the buffet! Great variety! Prime rib, chicken, bacon, roast pork, eggs and all kinds of fabulous sides. Desserts! We will return! Great place for a group!

Sunday Funday brunch. Great place for brunch. Slim pickins around these parts for an actual brunch. Just because you serve breakfast and booze doesn't mean you have brunch. This place does! Tess was the best! Kept my bottomless champagne actually bottomless. Very attentive and understanding. She helped us out when it got too crowded for me and my anxiety and we moved to the bar for a more chill atmosphere. Love that! Thank you so much! The front host and hostess are great too. I felt very welcomed. Thanks to the bar staff as well!

It was my first time dining here when we went back in March 2022. I was impressed with the food and service. We ordered half-shell raw oysters, hamburger, and their prime steak. Everything was well prepared and tasted good. The prime steak was huge! This is a good local gem! Go check them out!

Can we call it a visit disaster ?? We stopped in to enjoy a few cozy upscale beverages at Syl 's beautiful bar piano area. Served promptly and good bartender interaction. Perfect pours and quality. Three in my party, we decided let 's get a bite to eat. Ordering a few sandwiches at the bar and another round of drinks. After at least a 45 minute wait, no food. Soon after the bartender mentioned she would check on the order. Disaster. Bartender now out of our area, a very unprofessional owner, not apologizing but gruffly tells us I got problems in the kitchen.....I 've been back there myself working on getting your food out . Absolutely NO sorry for the delay . No offer to adjust the tab. Almost wants us to feel bad for ordering. From us he went on to a few more tables with the same story. At the bar appears a server who offered a bit of an explanation and said our food was coming. Simple steak sandwich, Reuben and shaved beef with onion rings came out an hour and 20 minutes. All food served cold. Almost unpalatable. Reuben was not eaten. Removed from the bill. For $117.00 you would expect to be treated a bit better than the front counter at a McDonalds.

Rockdale is an intesting enough place for the region, and this is the gem of maybe all of Joliet. pretty unassuming from the outside. we just had drinks and oysters at the bar so can speak too much of the menu but we enjoyed ourselves and would return. friendly people
