Credited to being one of the top 50 bbq joints in Texas. I can for sure confirm that everything was seasoned very well and tender. Enjoy the peace of a small town as you dine under a huge pecan tree. Plenty of food but don't wait too late to pop in as they do run out of some items if you're at the end of the hoard line. Don't forget to tip the anti-mice security guard with pieces of rib. What Elsa C doesn't like about Brett's Family Bbq:
Looked at the website and read Texas Monthly to study the hours for this place then planned my visit for a Thursday. Did the drive from Houston on a Thursday only to find out that the hours posted on Yelp website and Texas Monthly magazine are WRONG!!!! This place is Nit open on Thursday. Let me also say that I tried to call them and they did not answer. I also sent them an email to which I did NOT get a response. Th... View all feedback.
Delicious BBQ! Best brisket and ribs I've ever eaten. Potato salad and brisket beans were good too. Highly recommend

Pretty good BBQ. Ribs are great. Brisket is tender and moist. I'm a bit picky on sausage and the jalapeno cheddar is ok not bad but just not my cup of tea. Slaw has cilantro which I did not care for so just a heads up there if you do not like cilantro. Street corn is good. Great staff and environment.
Truly at the top of our list as some of the best Texas BBQ we've had. The sticky chicken and ribs were out of this world. The pulled pork, the best we've had. The brisket moist and delicious. The sides were just as good. The tea was even worth a mention. A hidden jem worth the money and drive. A true Texaspit master.
Brett’s has the best brisket I’ve ever eaten. The staff are friendly and the shade trees are a plus!
