Brett's Backyard Barbecue - Rockdale

Pretty good grill. Bands are great. Brisket is delicate and moist. I'm a little picky on sausage and the Jalapeno Chodar is not bad, but only not my cup of tea. Slav has Zilantro, which I didn't care, so just a head up there if you don't like cilantro. Street corn is good. Great staff and environment.

Truly at the top of our list as some of the best Texas BBQ we had. The sticky chicken and the ribs were from this world. The pulled pig, the best we had. The brisket moist and delicious. The pages were just as good. The tea was even worth mentioning. A hidden Jem value the money and drive. A real Texas master.

I'm here at 10:45. Got the 5 meats 3 pages sampler as it was here our first time. Excellent bbq. Brisket was the best ever. Also the turkey and the chicken were delicious. I have a 1/4 litre pig belly that was really good. The kicker was the peach glazed baby back ribs...WOW. You have to try them when you come. The pages were great. My only little Quibble was the Nutter Butter banana pudding. Tasteful, but no bananas in the mix. But best ever bbq hands down. For me, this place should have been Texas Monthly's number 1. Maybe next year

Some of the best BBQ I did? ve had a while! I've been here before. Pork Ribs, Brisket Sausage is always on the spot! The tacos are also good! Every side they have is delicious! These people know how to get BBQ! Definitely my way to Spot.

Super tender brisket and ribs. Pork steak was good and peppery. Sides were good. Nutter butter banana pudding to die for!! Awesome staff and the owner was very nice. Make the trip!!
