White Meadow Lake Clubhouse. - Rockaway

We recently toured here for a wedding. The view is absolutely breathtaking with the lake. The inside looks like an old mansion, however, they are planning to renevate it and update the walls/floor january 2017. They have two rooms available to use as a bridal suite or mini cocktail area. The main room is an open floor that you can use your imagination and creativity to decorate. There is a deck that is separated by a rope for the wedding. The other side has a bar open to the public suring certain hours. They provide open bar and you bring your own food; they give you a list of preferred caterers. The woman who toured us was extremely helpful and honest on her recommendations.

The entire estate is beautiful. The mansion is exquisite and rustic, but breathtaking. The staff was great. The bartenders quick and friendly. And best of all it was extremely affordable. So happy I found this place for my wedding.

Beautiful country club! I went here for a Bat Mitzvah a few years ago. It's a great location if you're looking to hold an event outside of the city, because it's only about 45 minutes by car or bus to Rockaway, NJ.

I have to say this is the worst place to throw an event especially like a very important day like a wedding. Everyone is extremely rude and not helpful. The bartender actually questioned me y I was asking for another shot...because it was 11:20 and closed at 11:30. It was definitely not very clean and had no service at all. So putting up pictures on social media is impossible. At the end the hostess actually asked me to help clean up. I'm all for helping but not for nothing I was maid of honor and don't feel like I should do that at the end of a very long day of taking care of the bride and all other duties. The few thousand dollars that brides family gave them should have included the cleaning. Definitely do not have any special event here. U will be disappointed
