What User dislikes about Theo's Java Club:
I would enjoy Bicycling to have a Coffee here if they would have table and chairs outside and not be Afraid of using the outside awning to block some of the Rain or the Sun, after all that this point of the day I've been out in the sun all Day. View all feedback.

Review Date: August 15th, 2016 A rustic coffeehouse that serves up a variety of items. I stopped by while heading to Jumer’s Casino and was pleasantly surprised by the antiqueness and rusticness of Theo’s. It is full of wooden furniture and older signs and decor. They offer the typical coffee varieties along with some baked goods and a food menu. I only had a coffee (black this time) and it was good. Not stellar, but it was black, so what can you expect? The food menu looked good, but I had food before heading here, so I was not hungry. The staff was friendly and gave great service despite being a bit busy. Overall, it was a nice little coffeehouse and if I lived in the area, I would visit it frequently. I just love the old antique feeling it has.

If you’re feeling brave, you could even fulfill your dreams of singing or playing there when it’s quiet (it feels safer that way!). After getting your coffee, it’s a perfect spot to stroll through the small city center and admire the adorable buildings, painted benches, and nearby rivers. It’s a lovely way to burn off those latte calories and stretch your legs!
This charming local coffee house is a real gem! The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely fantastic, and the iced coffee is perfectly strong and not watered down at all. The iced chai has a wonderful hint of cinnamon. It's a lovely, quiet spot to relax on a Saturday morning. We initially tried to go to the pancake place down the street, but it was too crowded. We're so glad we discovered this place instead. I can't recommend it enough!
When I say this is the sweetest, coziest little coffee shop and diner, you believe me best that I don't exaggerate! You can sit on the counter, you can sit in a stand, you can sit in a comfortable armchair. You can count on friendly local communities as well as an extensive menu. The atmosphere of this place cannot be beaten, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. In addition, my latte – the daily special – was phenomenal! I cannot recommend this place enough, whether for breakfast or lunch! Whenever I'm next to Moline, you'll find me there.

I had lunch and enjoyed a lovely coffee with Carmel. The Chamber Choir was there, serenading us with Christmas songs. The staff was very friendly. I absolutely loved the place!
The service was incredibly friendly. I ordered a half Reuben sandwich and a cup of soup. The Reuben was the best I've had in ages! However, the potato cheddar soup was a little too garlicky for my taste. My granddaughter had a tuna melt, which she absolutely loved! I will definitely be returning and may try a fancy coffee next time!
The iced coffee was fantastic, the breakfast burrito was amazing, and the service was outstanding!

The coffee is fantastic, the staff is welcoming, and the patrons are refreshingly diverse, all of which create a relaxed ambiance. It's the perfect spot for catching up with friends, studying, or just finding your flow.
