This was my second time to Bayside RI and it was again Fabulous. The fried shrimp and oyster po boy is a excellent choice. Everything is homemade even the breading on shrimp and oysters. I had the roasted sweet potatoes as my side and they are to die for. Wonderful sauces on all the dishes.Fresh squeezed lemonade is so refreshing.Will go back soon.Glad to see a new restaurant in Rock Island. View all feedback.
What Deion Schiller doesn't like about Bayside Bistro:
we spent 65.00 for 3 people to eat lunch...ok deal with when the service and eat well. Neither. Rude employees... didn't come to our order when he told the worker that a young guy came out and said he was gonna get what we were missing without any complaint. no fee! we have already paid for it. they just ignored us! only people in or outside the food we were! then the guy has the boldness to tell us they need a 10.00... Today, we had lunch at Bayside Bistro in Rock Island, and everything was fantastic! We tried the shrimp po' boys, both fried and sautéed, and they were delicious. The fried shrimp were slightly broken but had a wonderful flavor. The coleslaw on the side was simple yet enjoyable. We also tasted the Philly cheesesteak, and the flavor was exceptional. The cilantro rice that accompanied it was a delightful addition. For an appetizer, we ordered shrimp, which we loved for both its taste and texture. The owner was very attentive, explained the menu thoroughly, and was extremely helpful. The smoothies were also delicious! We can’t wait to come back!
I had the pleasure of enjoying their Sunday brunch, and while I may not have the expertise to describe the cuisine in detail, every dish was outstanding! The wonderful aromas wafting from the kitchen each night, as I drive home, clearly indicate that this level of quality is the standard, not just a special treat. Treat yourself and experience it for yourself!
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had a great experience. Our waiter, Trish, was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu, which really helped us make excellent choices. The homemade lemonade was delicious, and I absolutely loved the sweet potato side dish. I will definitely be returning soon!

I was here Feb of 21. could not wait to come back so my husband could try it. fantastic food. I'm only disappointed that the owner was not here. she is as wonderful of a person as she is a cook. Until next time, I drive 3 hours to eat
