Best ribs in the state. Fantastic BBQ, and fast and friendly service. An unassuming BBQ place attached to a laundromat. Everything we tried was out of this world. A/C had a little trouble keeping up with the hot day, but bearable. Will 100% be back. View all feedback.
What Rick C doesn't like about Wings University:
Nice place for lunch. I got the pulled pork with collards and baked beans. The pulled pork was similar to any other BBQ place but the portions were generous. The collard greens and baked beans had novel flavors and not run of the mill, although they were oily for my tastes. I also got a side of fries and surprisingly it was the most flavorful part of the meal. The staff were very friendly but I had a few small awkwar... View all feedback.
Best barbeque in the Fort Mill and Rock Hill area. Never disappoints. Pleasant wait staff. Food is exceptional.
I love the ribs and the black eye peas mixed with the collard greens. Sooo good!!! Great customer service too

Honestly, the only parts of this meal that wasn't outstanding were the hush puppies. Everything else I ate the smoked bratwurst, the mustard based gold sauce, the flavorful hash, and the mixture of black eyed peas and collard greens was stellar. That hash in particular was delicious. The Dixie Pig is certainly not a large establishment, and it might be easy to miss without a little GPS guidance. The primary dining area holds little more than a few bar stools, a pair of high top tables, and about four four seater tables. There's also a secondary dining area that's much larger, connected to the main establishment by a door near the bar counter. The staff here is down to earth, welcoming, and on top of their game. What was wrong with the hush puppies? They were certainly edible, but unlike everything else on the plate they were decidedly plain and flavorless. A little chopped jalapeno, a bit of sugar, or damn near anything else could liven them up. And that's seriously the only complaint I have. 4.5 stars, though I'd like to come back and try a few other dishes to see if everything else measures up.
Great food and service. Pulled pork sandwich was great but Pecan pie for dessert put it over the top
