Ford's Seafood - ROCK HALL

The food at this restaurant was amazing! My group of 6 had a wonderful dining experience. Our waitress, Tammy, was incredibly sweet and provided excellent service. We tried a variety of dishes including crabs, fried pickles, steamed clams, crab wrap, Chesapeake wrap, fish tacos, and an open face Turkey sandwich, and everyone loved their meals. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt like a traditional Maryland crab shack, adding to the overall experience.

Yesterday's experience at Ford's was absolutely terrible. We pre-ordered 2 dozen crabs, a dozen steamed clams, and corn nuggets, but when we arrived to pick up our food, we were disappointed to find that our order was completely messed up. We only received one dozen crabs, no corn nuggets, and no melted butter for the clams. When we contacted the restaurant to address the issue, they claimed they had run out of crabs and don't provide melted butter for takeout orders, despite having containers with lids. To make matters worse, many of the clams were either missing or filled with sand, making them inedible. We received a refund for the clams and missing crabs, but the overall experience was so awful that we have no intention of ever returning. It's baffling how an order could be so botched. Disappointing, to say the least.

For an authentic crab dining experience, this is the place to go. The crabs are fresh and expertly prepared with a simple steaming and Old Bay seasoning. The service was top-notch, with friendly wait staff who helped us navigate the best way to enjoy the crabs while also accommodating our two young boys. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with top marks for food, service, and atmosphere.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning every time we are in Rock Hall.

We were able to get a refund for the clams and missing crabs, but the overall experience was so unpleasant that we have no intention of returning.
