... a bakery with the best cheese sticks around and a deli where they order their sandwiches from all fresh ingredients. and the best and largest public washroom for miles. and a local spot to hang out. and a large parking lot...for most vehicles. and a propane supplier. and the local eck and food shop. and fishing equipment like living worms. I guess it's not just a gas station.
The rock creek Petro-Can was always the place for us to stop either comi. or from the kootenay. the offer is easy to reach hwy 3, offers a lot of parking, and the load itself offers exactly everything. from souvenirs to freshly prepared tasty eggs it is worth the stop. Oh, yes, it's gas.
The deli makes fantastic sandwiches. it is always my box stop to use the washroom and pick up a sandwich for the road.
I'm from out of town and there isn't much around here, but while working in the area, locals recommended heading to this deli for a sandwich. I was initially confused, expecting a gas station sandwich, but was pleasantly surprised to find a small deli with delicious kaiser and sub sandwiches, genuine baked goods, jerky, and liquor. My mind was blown - it reminded me of a convenience store in Vegas. Well done!
