Gold Pan Cafe - ROCK CREEK

I always stop at the Gold Pan Cafe - doing it since 1978. This time I ordered a hamburger and onion rings and in my opinion was delicious. While waiting for my take out order, a couple sitting at a table were being served their order of butter chicken which smelled so good I almost changed my order. I will return.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant with friendly staff. It's impressive how they manage to sustain a successful business in a small town with only 1000 residents.

While driving through Rock Creek, we decided to stop at this little cafe. They had pretty good food. Friendly staff.

We stopped here due to a past experience. What a shock! The place needs a good clean. Staff very indifferent although our waiter was trying hard. We had the borscht and it was terrible with a piece of regular burned bread.As we found out it has changed hands and is now a place to pass by.

After stopping at Rock Creek for a nice meal and a break for many years my family stopped this week and will never again patronize this restaurant again. We ordered the borscht and it was nothing more than watered down gruel. After leaving most of it uneaten because it was unedible we told the cashier and he seemed uninterested in our experience and basically was comfortable that he had our money and customer satisfaction was not an issue. Do yourself a favour and eat in Greenwood
