I went to this restaurant with my friends for drinks and was rudely spoken to by the blonde bartender. Despite purchasing more than 6 drinks for 5 people, we were told we must buy 6 drinks for all 6 of us. One person in our group didn't want to drink and because of that, we were treated in a hostile manner. I have been a local resident for 15 years and don't often visit this pub. Great local pub. excellent eating and friendly service. they had a lunch party of 23 people, but they still found time to serve us. I had a lively Asian dish. comprehensive menu catering for every taste.
A warm and welcoming village pub. Comfortable changes to seating areas have enhanced the decor and gives more space. Christmas menu was good and the food was well presented.
